“Cases of Femicide before Lebanese Courts” is a study that sheds light on some of the crimes committed against women and girls within the context of the family structure and its relations in Lebanon. It provides understanding of the background and circumstances surrounding these crimes and the manner in which these cases are dealt with by the Lebanese judicial system.

The study was conducted and finalized by Azza Charara-Baydoun with the support of KAFA (enough) Violence & Exploitation and first appeared in Arabic language (available online at KAFA). The Arabic original was made available in English with the support of the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Middle East Office in Beirut.
