The Lebanese Commission for Environment and Development organized in collaboration with the Heinrich Boell Stiftung, Middle East Office, the Ministry of Environment and the League of Independent Activists, Indyact a meeting entitled:
“What are we Expecting from the UNFCCC COP 17 Meeting in Durban?”
The program of the meeting included:
- Presenting, discussing and providing input to the position of the Lebanese official delegation to the meeting in Durban
- Summarizing the results of the Panama Preparatory Meeting for the CoP 17 in Durban
- Presenting the suggestions of the LCED regarding the “People’s Protocol on Climate Change”
- Discussing the expectations from the CoP 17 in Durban
