Dima Wannous studied French literature and translation at the University of Damascus in Syria and the Sorbonne in Paris. She worked as an editor and a presenter for the cultural program ‘City Lights’ that was screened on the ‘Orient’ satellite channel, and writes cultural and political articles for a number of Lebanese and foreign newspapers. Among her literary publications are:Details (2007), , and Chair(2009). She currently oversees the cultural page of the electronic newspaper Al-Modon.
