Rami el Ali is an assistant professor of Philosophy and director of the Lebanese American University's (LAU) philosophy program. Before joining LAU in Fall 2014, Ali completed his Ph.D. at the University of Miami in Florida, USA. His primary area of research is the philosophy of mind, with an emphasis on perception. He also has interests in the early 20th century phenomenological movement, and the philosophy of digital technology. Currently, he is completing a book manuscript on misperception.
