Rami Araban works as a Programme Manager on Syria and Iraq at the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Middle East Office in Beirut. He previously worked for Norwegian Refugee Council in Lebanon in a number of different roles; first as a Programme Coordinator in the Legal Counselling Programme for refugees, and later as a consultant with the partnership team providing support to local humanitarian organisations in Syria. A graduate of physics and former high school teacher in Syria, Rami has moved into the humanitarian and development field through his work in the educational sector.
